Facts on Cat Overpopulation

Two uncontrolled Breeding Cats:

1st year: 12

2nd Year: 144

3rd Year: 1,728

4th Year: 20,736

Millions of unwanted kittens are born in our country each year. During the peak of kitten season (April-September) animal shelters and cat rescues are over worked and over burdened trying to accommodate the large number of cats and kittens in need. Other cats are less fortunate and left to wander and fend for themselves- making easy prey for larger animals, automobiles and cruel people. If they do survive these hazards and elements they soon obtains maturity and give birth to 5 or 6 kittens , to continue the cycle. Every cat owner whose cat is not spayed or not neutered, and allowed to roam, must accept responsibility for the suffering of homeless cat overpopulation.
