Dr. Stacy Lambrinos was born and raised in the north country of New York. She grew up on a farm on rand hill with horses, cattle and numerous beloved cats and dogs. Her family owned and operated Gus' Red Hots Restaurant located on Cumberland Head Corners in Plattsburgh, NY from 1951 to 2020. Stacy worked at her family's restaurant while she completed her undergraduate studies at Plattsburgh State University and worked towards her goal of becoming a veterinarian. She attended Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in May 2008.
Her passion for shelter medicine and spay and neuter surgery was sparked during a spay and neuter day to an animal shelter in Mississippi. During veterinary school she worked closely with a nationally recognized spay and neuter surgeon and studied and trained at the best college in the US for shelter medicine.
Under her professor's guidance, she developed a low cost, high quality spay and neuter mobile veterinary clinic in her native area of upstate New York.
In her free time, Stacy enjoys riding dressage and trail riding with her Friesian and off the track thoroughbred horses. She also enjoys spending time with her cats, family and boyfriend.
